We were asked to cook 4 dinners and prepare 3 lunches for this group of lovely writers and we happily obliged. No Words. No Food. was inspired by the women’s shirts they wore during their retreat. Dinner 1: Pan Fried Zucchini Cakes with a Yogurt and roasted Garlic Dipping Sauce

Warm Orzo Salad with Asparagus, Heirloom Tomatoes with Citrus Vinaigrette

Lemon and Herb Roasted Chicken Breasts

Mixed Berry Crumble with Lemon Zest

Dinner 2: Shrimp Skewers with Sweet Chili Dipping Sauce

Papaya Salad with Sesame Vinaigrette

Chicken Green Curry and Vegetables, served with Jasmine Rice and side of Brown Rice

Mango Sorbet

Dinner 3: Mini Black Bean and Avocado Tostadas garnished with Micro-Greens

Fish Tacos (freshest fish available. I fish a lot in the summer and share my catch) served with:

Pico De Gallo, Corn Tortillas (low carb version) and Cabbage Slaw with Honey Vinaigrette

Roasted Corn topped with Cilantro and with Cojita Cheese

Summer Fruit Salad

Dinner 4: Grilled Flank Steak served with Chimichurri Sauce

Farmer’s Market Tomato Salad with Basil, Red Wine Vinaigrette and shaved Parmesan

Quinoa with grilled Vegetables

Chocolate and Almond Bark with Cherries

Lunch 1: Curry Chicken Salad with Grapes, Yogurt, Shallot and Cilantro. Served with Pita Bread and Spinach.

Lunch 2: Grilled Steak and Blue Cheese Salad with Honey Horseradish Dressing

Lunch 3: Mediterranean Quinoa Salad with shredded Chicken, roasted Red Pepper, Feta and Mint
