When Client H. hired me to cook for his wife’s birthday, I was excited. Not only was I excited to be part of a special night but when I heard the theme was Mediterranean, I was elated about their menu. Here is their custom menu and a sampling of photos.
Grilled Halloumi. Watermelon, grilled Halloumi Cheese, Basil & Mint Oil with roasted Tomatoes.
Mediterranean Platter. Hummus, Feta Dip, Crudité, Figs, Grapes and Cheese.
Mango Sorbet. Palate Cleanser.
Leg of Lamb. Leg of Lamb marinated in Olive Oil, Garlic and Rosemary then grilled. Served with Tzatziki Sauce.
Cous Cous Salad. Cous Cous, Cucumber, Tomato, Red Onion, Garlic and Herbs.
Roasted Eggplant. Eggplant, Capers, Red Onion and Herbs.
Grilled Peaches. Honeyed Peaches with Dukkah, Blueberries and Mint.
