Family Vacation. 4 Dinners for 8 Adults.

A family visiting from upstate NY and Canada all came together to enjoy each other and all that Southern California has to offer. We were honored to come to their La Jolla home and prepare 4 dinners. Here is their custom menu as well as images from their Italian Feast.

Dinner 1: Beef Sliders on a Brioche Bun with White Cheddar (some without) and crispy Shallots.

BLT Bites. Cherry Tomatoes stuffed with Lettuce and Bacon.

Arugula Salad with toasted Pine Nuts, Parmesan Crisps, and Citrus Vinaigrette.

Grilled Flank Steak and grilled Chicken with Chimichurri Sauce served roasted Asparagus and Heirloom Tomatoes.

Mixed Berry Crumble with Lemon Zest and Whipped Cream.

Dinner 2: Shrimp Skewers with Sweet Chili Dipping Sauce and Chicken Skewers with Peanut Dipping Sauce.

Thai Coconut Soup served in Gourds.

Chopped Thai Salad with Sesame Garlic Dressing.

Chicken Green Curry with Vegetables and served with Jasmine Rice / mild spice level.

Mini Chocolate Cakes with Chocolate Ganache and Tangerine

Dinner 3: Meat and Cheese Platter.

Bruschetta (half with whipped Feta and half with Garlic & Olive Oil) topped with Heirloom Tomatoes marinated in Balsamic Vinegar and Shallots and garnished with Basil.

Green Bean and Blood Orange Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette.

Veal Meatballs served with Marinara, Spaghetti Squash and Fettuccine.

Tiramisu.

Dinner 4: Red Snapper Ceviche with Lemon Foam.

Guacamole topped with Pomegranate Seeds served with Chips.

Grilled Carne Asada and Pollo Asada served with Tortillas, Pico de Gallo and Sliced Jalapenos served with Grilled Corn topped with Lime, Chile Powder, Cilantro & half with Cotija Cheese and Chile Rellenos.

Churro Bites dusted in Cinnamon & Sugar served with Chocolate and Caramel Sauces.

Dinner 4: Meat and Cheese Platter.
