Client J. asked that we create a birthday dinner for the honoree turning 60. The dinner was for 3 couples who were dear friends from Arizona and California visiting Newport Beach and staying at the Resort of Pelican Hill. Thank you for allowing us to take part in your special event. Here is their custom menu:
Baked Brie with Pecans, Apples and French Bread
Prosciutto wrapped Cantaloupe
Filet Mignon. Served with a Brown Butter Sauce, Heirloom Tomatoes, Garlic and Thyme
Potatoes Au Gratin. Layers of Potatoes, Cream and Gruyere Cheese. Served tableside in a cast iron skillet garnished with Chives.
Caesar Salad. Topped with Thyme and Garlic Croutons, Shaved Parmesan Cheese and an Anchovy-Free Dressing.
Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Ganache garnished with Strawberries and served with Strawberry Sorbet.
