Meet Chef Heather Zaida, “The CHZ”. She spent 11 plus years in the techie world as a QA Engineer who worked her way up the corporate ladder. Chef Zaida decided to pursue a second career and graduated from New York City’s Institute of Culinary Education with a Culinary Arts degree in 2009. Heather had finally turned her passion for all things food into a reality and would love to share her passion with you!
Chef Zaida is a United States Personal Chef Association member. She is licensed, insured and ServeSafe certified.
Chef Zaida loves to cook using the freshest of local and in-season ingredients. She likes to dabble in all types of cuisines and experiment by creating new recipes. Chef Zaida’s second passion is travel and taking cooking courses during these travels. She has taken courses in the Caribbean, California, NYC, Italy, China and soon… Prague.
When Chef Zaida isn’t cooking, she is playing with her 7 year old son, texting with her 22 year old son who is currently living in Tennessee, hosting dinner parties / entertaining, taking a stroll on the beach, fishing, traveling, visiting the farmer’s market and always taking photos.
